★ First Impressions

♚ VISUAL: While Alex's personality may make her feel as though she fills the room, and makes her seem larger than she is, the woman is actually very petite. She's a small framed 5'1" that she attempts to bulk out with sweaters and scarves and blazers. Despite that, she doesn't normally augment her height, instead eschewing heels in favor of the more practical flat or chucks. After all, one doesn't run particularly well from demons in heels, and she'd probably break her neck anyway. The practicality of her footwear and clothing choices go along with the minimal appearing makeup that she chooses for her fair skin. The minimalism found in the makeup behind her hipster glasses is a carefully constructed artifice, created by layer upon layer of color corrector, concealer, foundation and highlighter that she lays over the dark circles below her eyes that take the appearance of near bruises due to her lack of sleep.

Despite the lack of sleep and it's lingering effects on her, there's an intelligence evident in the warmth of Alex's doe eyes, even if the fact that they're so expressive tends to give the things that she's feeling away more often than not. The holder of a large and easy smile, it's something that Alex gives easily but has multiple facets of. However, more often than not, it's a smile of amusement rather than a thin line of politeness, however, and wry when she uses bad humor or self-deprecation. Going along with the whole PNW hipster vibe that Alex generally has going, her brunette hair normally just hangs loose down her back, sometimes curling with a slight wave. Occasionally, during late nights or overly hot days, she'll tie it into a loose knot at the back of her head and secure it with a pencil.
♚ FASHION: Alex tends to be business casual to casual. Her normal uniform is jeans or slacks, a button down shirt and a sweater or a blazer depending on the level of interview or studio time she has that day.
♚ DEMEANOUR: Alex is generally kind and open, and is very expressive. She gives the impression that she's always really listening to whoever she's listening to and whatever they're saying is incredibly important.
♚ SOUND: Alex's voice is incredibly expressive, and it's possible to hear a smile in it, or her anger even when she's trying hard to to be. She's also very Canadian. Complete with "aboot" and a lot of "oh my gawd" Here is a non-spoilery bit from TBT

♚ FOURTHWALLING: Okay so. In TBT universe, The Black Tapes is a hugely successful podcast in a world that like has Podcast Chopped. (Seriously.) As it intersects with our world, the show maintained that all of the characters were actually real for most of the period of it's run. So, Alex will just assume that people have heard of her that way! So I'm totally good for it and would love it, honestly.
