This is a nightmare, all of it, but Alex perhaps for one of the few times, follows what he says without him needing to add the underlying threat against her into it.

The threat against the woman is another thing entirely.

Alex just stares at his sets of teeth before she does move herself and Simon behind Richard. She gently settles Simon down onto the ground before she moves forward to stand only a step behind him.
