When he goes to the cockpit after threatening her, Alex just swallows. She knows that he could threaten her, that he already did but given that she was here with him, she had thought that would be the end of it. It's a moot point because Alex isn't lying about it, and wouldn't be: Thomas Warren is a danger to herself and to the fucking planet. But it is a reminder to her about who--what really--that Alex is dealing with here.

What is in that file that they gave you when we got on the plane?" She had wanted to get up and look at it before, but it didn't seem like a good idea, which meant that maybe Alex Reagan was actually learning something from this whole experience, or, more likely she was saving it all up for doing something really stupid.
