"After seeing the state of his office, I was really worried. I was about to demand that Ruby put me in touch with Strand immediately when..." Your voice drops lower, more sultry. "I felt the warmth of Strand's hand on my shoulder." Your voice gets lower, more intimate, "a shiver went up my spine. I bit my lip unconsciously. I felt his hand on my shoulder..." From your right you can hear Paul, your boss and also friend just entirely starting to lose his shit with laughter. His entire body is completely shaking with it. Terry and Nic aren't much better, laughing with their matching voices. You're in the recording booth at the studio, with Paul and Terry and Nic in it.

Looking down at the words on the paper in front of you, you just start to giggle too. You can't help it. Like anything even close to it was ever going to happen, despite what your feelings are.

Paul just tries in a valiant effort: "come on you gotta stay..."

And you add: "Come on you guys!" But the laughter is still evident in your voice even as you try and keep it together.

Terry interjects: "you can't break! And a shiver..."

And then you all dissolve into giggles again. It was Paul's idea, after reading so much fanmail and hearing so much about fanfic on reddit. Oh, you know that Strand would definitely murder you if he ever heard about it, but he won't. Besides, he's to busy being mad at you anyway.
